Edmonton Valley Zoo implements new wellness plan for Lucy
The Edmonton Valley Zoo has released a new treatment plan for Lucy the elephant that focuses on improving her breathing capacity and addressing her arthritis. The plan, based on a Valley Zoo-commissioned report from Dr. James Oosterhuis, also includes an enhanced exercise program for the 35-year-old Asian elephant.
